As many of you have heard, this has been Air Force Week, in and around St. Louis. Last evening I had the privilege to photograph the Thunderbirds and invited Guests at the St. Louis Science Center.

Al Wymann was the MC during the Q&A which followed by autographs. It was really fun to see the different ages from youngsters to younger at heart, and the interaction all the USAF and Thunderbird members had with the guests.

One youngster really stood out with me; he was so excited and proud that he not only got to meet the USAF Thunderbirds, but also got everyone of their autographs.

Hey #6, remember you said you would turn on your smoke when you see me waving! (Yeah right – like he’ll be able to pick me out in a sea of thousands!)

A reception of invited guests followed at the Planetarium. Wolfgang Puck did the catering and like every event I’ve photographer there, the food was amazing!
