Christmas time is here, and it seems to be arriving a little earlier and earlier each year. Regardless here is a post I made a couple of years ago about how I know when it is OFFICALLY CHRISTMAS – enjoy!
We shot this image at Brandon’s sister’s wedding in 2006; that’s why we are so excited to welcome Brandon and Laurie as our newest wedding couples. They will be getting married in early 2009.
Laurie came by today to finish the contract and to show me pictures of her gown. Oh, Brandon – your bestman might want to have an oxygen tank with him because she is going to take your breath away!
Looking forward to your engagement session in a few weeks!
I’m sure everyone has heard of Make-A-Wish, a not-for-profit organization that provides wishes to children that have life threatening medical conditions. To date, the St. Louis Chapter has been able to provide over 6000 wishes to children through the kind donations and support of individuals and corporate sponsers.
As many of you know, I volunteer a lot of my photography services to the Make-A-Wish foundation, and I’m calling upon my readers help them out.
This past Sunday their building, located in Rockhill, was completely destroyed by flood waters. In the words of Sandy Lehr, President of the St. Louis Chapter, “We’ve lost everything; and are now in need of a temporary location for 3 to 6 months while our building is repaired.”
Here are the requirements:
1. It needs to be able to house a staff of 15.
2. It has to be donated space.
Please call Sandy at 314.919.9474. You may have to leave a message but they will call you back.
Don’t you just love the rivalry between the Cardinals and the Cubs?
Melissa and Nick are probably one of St. Louis’ biggest fans – in fact, their entire wedding party are big fans – well, except for two of them. The other members of the wedding party showed them how they felt about it too.
The sad part is, the Cubs really spanked us this week – and on our own turf!
