Introducing – Bouquet charms!
Is there a special someone that can’t be with you on your wedding day? Give them a special place of honor or memory with a Bouquet Charm! These little pieces of jewelry can be incorporated into your bouquet, and used later on a charm bracelet, or key chain.
Charms are contemporary styled, completely sealed and water-tight so the image will not be damaged from moisture.

I just had lunch today with a friend of mine and she shared with me a wonderful idea for honeymoon gift registry. Just think about it, instead of getting 6 toaster and 2 blenders you can register at Damar Travel and Cruise’s website for your honeymoon. WOW – what a great idea! Check it out. Oh, they also do destination weddings.

If you haven’t been inside the Westin in St. Louis or dined at the Clark Street Grill, you have to put this on your “to-do” list. The service and food is amazing!!!
Last year we were honored to photograph their Westin Engagement Pary and wanted to share some of the photos of the room decorated for a wonderful event. Click here to view our slideshow and see what you can expect from this years event! Yes, they are having the 2nd annual Westin engagement party. I love it when friends come to town! Today I got to have lunch with my very good friend, and web designer, Arina Lanis. It’s always so much fun when we get together. I’m not sure if she has ADD like me but she is very good at keeping up with my ADD conversations. I think we had six different topics going at one time.
Here we are modeling Chanel sunglasses (bling-bling baby!)

Anyway, we had lunch at the new Maggiano’s in The Boulevard, and it was wonderful! I love the décor and they have some really nice meeting facilities; perfect for a rehearsal dinner or bridal luncheon.

This was my lunch – Shell Pasta with roasted veggies – Yum!

The next time you’re looking for a new place to eat check out Maggiano’s!

Many of you know we have a large family. We have 9 people living under one (small) roof. And sometimes my husband, Paul, and I just need to get away.
About a year ago, I was listening to Charlie Brennan on KMOX and he was talking with this guy named Keith who negotiates hotel rates. His website is www.lowesthotelprices.biz
Paul and I have decided it’s time for a little space and have a weekend (and a bathroom) just to ourselves. (Enter lowesthotelprices.biz) I could have put my information and request into the website but I decided to call because I didn’t really understand how it worked. OMG – it’s so easy!!! You can’t be specific as to what hotel but you can say what specific area and how many stars. So in about 4 hours Keith calls me back with TWO, yes two, nights at the Hyatt – Union Station for a grand total of (including his admin fee) of $123.00! Wahoo!
Heck, even at sidestep.com the best price I got was $144.00 per night!
We are so looking forward to our alone time. The last time we got away we only had one night. We stayed in our room, had a cocktail, ordered pizza, watched the food channel, and crashed. What a perfect evening!

Over the years we have worked with so many event professionals, but every now and then one just really stands out.
In 2005 we worked with Lifetime Media on about a half dozen weddings or events and each video produced was better than the last. Eric, Abe, and Chris are all 100% professional and I have had the pleasure of working with each of them on numerous occassions. Take a look at their web site and give them a call (be sure to tell them I said “hi”).

I want to share a (somewhat) new bakery and cake studio. It’s call The Cakery Bakery and I had the pleasure of working with these talented ladies as a recent wedding. They created a confectionary delite that looked beautiful and tasted wonderful! (And we always make it a point to sample the cake.)

I’d like to thank Sarah Earll, one of our clients, for telling me about Pueblo Solis Mexican restaurant on Hampton. I’ve been there twice this week!
I’m not a food critic – I just love great food. And the thing I love about Mexican food is all the texture and flavor contrasts. I’m mean look at it; the use of hard and soft tortillas, and hot entrees, with a cool guacamole salad, or zesty sauces and sweet sour cream. Yumm!
One of my favorite entrees at Pueblo Solis is their beef tostadas. And OMG, their guacamole is to die for. It’s the perfect blend of avocado, tomatoes, onion, and other spices.
When you first arrive you’re served a mound of warm chips and three different salsas ranging from mild and zesty to “call the fire department”.
They also have a full service bar so you can enjoy a margarita, or other adult beverage.
So the next time you’re in south city and have a taste for south of the boarder, stop by Pueblo Solis. Oh, but don’t try to stop for lunch, they don’t open until 5 p.m. (learned that the hard way).
