Last week Paul and I went down to Texas to visit with our daughter, son-in-law, and the grandkids.  We had a great time but really didn’t do a lot.  I think the kids were just so happy to show off their new house, friends, and tricks.  We did go down to San Antonio to Sea World and had a blast watching all the shows and the excitement on the kids faces when they saw Shamu.  I have pictures I’ll post later.

We were flying out of Dallas so we stopped that the Texas School Book Depository to tour the imfamous 6th floor window, from where President Kennedy was shot.  It was a very moving experience as we were actually standing in the same location, and perhaps walked the same steps as Lee Harvey Oswald.  Everything looked the same as it did in 1963.  Even the view from the windows are the same, with the exception of the trees being a little taller.

After we left the building we walked over to the Grassy Knoll.  There, in the left side of the center lane on Elm Street is a simple “X”; which marks the approximate location of the 3rd shot - the one that hit President Kennedy in the back of the head.

In the same day!

Sunday we were one degree short of a record high, something like 74 degrees, two days later snow - and lot’s of it.

What a great day! The temprature was perfect for an out door engagement session with Jenny & Dan.  We decided to just play around down town and work with some of the city-scapes.  We had a blast working with some of the great architecture and storefronts, many I’m sure you will recognize.

Thanks guys for making my job so fun! I can’t wait until the wedding!!!!

This is the castle at the Magic Kingdom.  Can you belive they come in and overnight transform this place into a winter wonderland.

Our internet service has not worked since we moved to our new studio but today we have been reconnected to the outside world!!!

So I wanted to thank everyone for their patience as I was only able to send and receive emails from home which meant late at night.

Wow, I had no idea how dependent we are on the internet and how lost, and literally disconnected, I was.

Literally!

We are moving the studio downtown AND we’ve opened a satelite office in Chesterfield. 

We’re going to miss being on The Hill and all the wonderful people. But don’t worry, I’ll be back on the occational Thursday because I’ll need my canolli fix from Vitalie’s and I’ll have to stop in to say hi to the ladies at Salono Malono and Cielo (hey, we haven’t stupped at all this year).
